Haircare Is Healthcare Educational Center - HIHEC, LLC is led by Melissa Brockett, RN, BSN, along with a team of multi-disciplinary professionals. Melissa has a unique approach to addressing healthy haircare as it relates to healthcare. Her two decades of experience in the hospital on medical surgical units, emergency departments and in homecare as a staff nurse, supervisor, manager and educator allowed Melissa to see first hand the impact health, medications and education has on a client's end results. A well-rounded approach helps Melissa bring important guidance to HIHEC's students.

Melissa Brockett
Established in 2024, Haircare Is Healthcare Educational Center - HIHEC, LLC serves to close the gap in client education about their hair loss and its relation to their health. Barbers and beauticians are integral in identifying early signs of hairloss and serve as the experts to guide their clients to the next best steps.
As a Cosmetologist and Loctician, too; I want to aid in developing strong professionals who purposely care about their clients who confide in them beyond a great hair style!
